The typesetter can’t seem to make up their mind as to where they should replace the original bit of text completely instead of overloading an already busy screen. 🙂
(And they also seem to have died upon the release of the first episode.)
Well, they only replace (paint over) text on solid colored backgrounds. Would be a huge pain in the ass to do that on gradients and textures.
