    1. “Ever since I was little, I’ve seen strange things every now and then” needs another check. It doesn’t sound like proper English.

    2. Was it necessary to translate manjuu as a “bean-jam dumpling”? I’m no purist, but it’s somewhat misleading because this is how a jam dumpling may look like: http://i.imgur.com/ikGIlJR.jpg, while manjuu can look like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Carinto_manjyu.JPG and be nothing like the other one. Which is why manjuu, as a unique kind of food, is simply called “manjuu” around the world, much like pizza, also being unique, isn’t translated as an “open-topping cheese pie” in other languages. Considering the spirit in question didn’t know what manjuu was, and it wasn’t necessary for the story to explain it, it would have been better to leave it as is.

    3. This is outside the scope of the screenshots used here, but, while I don’t mind the dropped honorifics in Commie’s version, Takashi addressing his aunt simply as “Touko” doesn’t make sense either. It’s obvious they aren’t on such casual terms, so the proper translation would be Aunt Touko or something similar. Unless the translators have a habit of calling their distant relatives that are some 30 years older than themselves by their first names.

Commie subs pretty bad. I don’t understand why the need to drop honorifics in this series as its quite, how to say this, some sort of “formal” series? And why translate “sensei” to master? It doesn’t makes sense at all.
